"This series is an example of what good television can ascribe to... Excellent writing, character development, acting, cinematography, direction, etc. The only negatives were to cancel the series, and NOT to offer the complete series in BLU-RAY. I will not spend money on this version to run on my high def 7.1 system. Give this series, and the viewers who want to continue to support it, the choice we deserve."

"Took a trip to the Black Hills this summer to visit relatives and they strongly recommended the Deadwood television series. Having visited the town of Deadwood and fascinated by history, I took a chance and ordered the series for my husband's birthday. It turned out to be a winner. My husband and I watched the first 11 episodes in one weekend. It was incredibly addicting. We couldn't wait to see what unfolded in each episode. We had to leave it at the cabin to watch on weekends so that we could make it last a little longer. It is definitely unlike anything I have seen before and I would recommend it strongly. It is, however, not meant for children due to the adult subject matter and raw language used. It has fueled my interest in learning more about the people and the events that shaped the town of Deadwood. It's truely worth it."

"Applause to the casting director. Wonderful insight into what would make an outstanding show. Robin Weigert was such a wonderful actor in the series I had to take a second look when I saw what she looked like off the set. I, too, watched Sunday nights diligently and currently watch my box set and reruns on HBO. I searched online for months when the series ended to see when HBO would finish the series to no avail. It's a shame because rarely do I commit to a series on television. David Milch is a genius and I would love to meet him in person, I'll bet he's fascinating. Please, for the love of viewers and the art of cinematography, give us more deadwood or else the bunny gets it!!!"
